The qualified Winner will be able to explore the very special opportunity to work in capacity of illustrator together with internationally acclaimed music educator and passionate advocate for the arts education, musician and author, Ms. Rozalina Gutman, who is invited to make presentations on her unique teaching method at various high profile events for educators, such as International, National and local Conferences for Music and Arts Educators, Music and the Arts Industry representatives, Government officials and community leaders.
The goal is to produce the inspiring presentation on teaching method, in the form of Special 28th World Conference Edition of the illustrated textbook, to be offered to the esteemed arts educators and researchers - the Conference delegates from various countries, in order to be used as the resource for the Int’l Research Project “Mozart Genome ™” that explores the impact of creative educational activities on brain formation and cognitive development.
The selected Winner will receive generously publicized book credits, formal introductions at the events and publicity exposure via variety of media.
JUDGES:
unique panel of judges for semi-final round will consist of CHILDREN ARTISTS selected by art educators and staff of MOCHA (Museum of Children Arts) in Oakland. ARTIST’S CAPACITY:
to create many illustrations at fast pace in direct collaboration with the author
APPLYING ARTIST SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO START THE PROJECT IMMEDIATELY WITH THE GOAL TO HAVE IT COMPLETED DURING MAY 10 – 20 PRIZES INCLUDE:

The Winner will be notified promptly.(ATTENTION: those entries that could not be included in this round, will be considered for other upcoming educational publishing projects in the near future.) SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE:

- 3 samples of your artwork in common digital file format (such as PDF, JPG, etc.)

ENTRIES MUST DISPLAY THE ARTIST’S ABILITY TO CONVEY:
expression of various emotions in the way that is appealing to 7 - 11 y.o. child, ability to clarify the text content through the means of graphic expression, simplifying and making accessible some abstract music theory concepts (author may be available in person). Ability to transform educational text into entertaining, inspiring, yummy, huggable, juicy, smile-provoking material, with the goal to create educational experience that is ever encouraging for more and more learning.
